Zain Pharma Ltd has a strong infrastructure supported by a team of experienced professionals to look into its regulatory affairs.
The quality control department is led by the quality control manager subordinated by the quality control executives and officers.
The main function of the quality assurance department
- Authorization of written procedures and other documents, including amendments.
- Counterchecking, monitoring and control of the manufacturing environment.
- Plant hygiene.
- Process validation and calibration of analytical apparatus.
- Approval and monitoring of contract manufacturers.
- Designation and monitoring of storage conditions for materials and products.
- Performance and evaluation of in-process controls.
- Retention of records.
- Monitoring of compliance with cGMP requirements.
- Inspection, investigation and taking of samples in order to monitor factors that may affect product quality.
